The Astronomers
Three local professional astronomers have been responsible for putting
together the presentations and hands-on activities. They are:

Institute in Baltimore, Maryland

- Dr. Carol Grady, astronomer with the Space Telescope Imaging
Spectrograph project, Goddard Space Flight Center
They have been ably assisted at various presentations by Dr. Karl Cox,
Jim Phillips, and Hanna Hill. In addition, Dr. Daniel Steinberg (now
at Princeton University) was involved in developing the original project.

participated in the development of the program, assisted with presentations,
researched materials, provided guidance, and put together displays.

- Irva Gabin, Childrens Librarian, East Columbia Branch
- Deborah Bosilovich, Childrens Librarian, Glenwood Branch
- Tanya Malveau, Childrens Librarian, Miller Branch
Several other librarians were also involved in various discussions, activities,
and presentations: Michele Hunter, Savage Branch; Cynthia Jobling, East
Columbia Branch; Carolyn Kunsman, Glenwood Branch; Ginny Leslie, Miller Branch;
